Hello
I chanced upon a bmx with the 14mm axles in my local dump, before then i'd benn struggling to source these so it was a stroke of luck. My question is is it possible to remove the cog from the rear wheel so i can use hese as two front wheels for my trike? The ring that seams to hold it on has 4 square notches at 0 90 180 and 270 degress.

Thanks

Yes, use a chisel or flathead screwdriver you hate to bang the freehub off in the counter-clockwise direction. Switch between the 4 notches as you pound - this helps.

Thanks Brad - will it end up looking like the front wheel without that cog?
By the way i love the evil genius book! Fantastic although i'm sarting to get in trouble as my driveway is filling up with part bikes and frames!

No problem, and thanks!

Yes, the freehub will unscrew leaving a hub like this...

I will be starting my streetfox this week also, and I planned on doing exactly the same thing.
Got to source 2 matching headtubes first as the ones I have are either matching and crap, or good but don't even come close to matching.
