WOW! I want to shell out $2500 for a DeltaWolf Speed Trike Clone!

Since they are touting its speed, its too bad they didn't put some decent sized wheels on the back. With that front chain ring they show, and those tiny back wheels it wouldn't stand a chance against my real DW with 700ccs on the back.

Except for the round tubing it does appear to be a copy of the DW, except their rearend looks a bit simpler (and probably lighter).

Wow can you say ripoff artists lol.
Does look a lot like a wolf but with a more traditional rear end kinda like a sun or one of those trike conversion kits.

Looking at that second link and the bike called the Optima, kinda reminds me of brads streetfox, especially the way they angled the steering tubes back towards the seat for more toe-room.

Interesting Very Interesting.

I'll bet that rear derailleur takes a beating. I bet it doesn't have more than in inch of ground clearance. Why do you think the front end has so much rake?

It's an old design from around 2003, only now entering production...
It is in the market fighting against the likes of http://www.hasebikes.com/59-1-kettwiesel-flash.html or http://www.greenspeed.com.au/anura_main.html. I know which one I would choose if I had that kind of money :o, but to be honest I prefer the challenge of building it myself.
It is pretty flattering to think that this is a Wolf rip off :) but I think, it's more likely the case of form following the function.
Whatever is the case, it is good to see more and more deltas coming out!

Looks like they stole my seat design also, LOL.

My Seat (http://picasaweb.google.com/ggriffin924/Griffins_DeltaWolf#5247689890012110690) very close, but of course I did not come up with the design either, it does look very close to the delta wolf design. Especially the steering.

OK, I have to get a tube bender and some EMT. I really like the simplicity of your seat Griff. I also have to get better at documenting my progress...where does all the time go!?

Why do you think the front end has so much rake?

Noitice the angle of the head tube. It needs that much rake to reduce the trail, which reduces wheel flop.

Chris

This happens far more often than people think.
It happens with inventions as well.
As we become more "au fait" with what is happening all over the world information and knowledge builds up till the light bulb goes "Bling" simultaneously amongst a large number of like minded people.
Lets be honest, all deltas look virtually the same as do all tadpoles.
And D/F's? say no more. Nudge nudge wink wink.
Each version has its little quirks and design traits but they are virtually the same machines.
This is not to say some are not blatant exact copies buts its very difficult to come up with something completely and radically new and if you do it often happens in more than one location.

OK, how would one hack this type of wheel mount? I see how to do the 'male' side, if you will, but how would one fab the wheel hub? Think it would be similar to RR's mod?

A 20 mm axles fits over the stub, and is locked into position by the lever at the end. i may be wrong here, but I would imagine they drilled out the disc brake threads in the wheel hub so that it can simply slide on and off without having to remove the disc brake bolts. The bolts simply work as cogs to drive the hub shell.

Just a guess though.
