Those lawn signs come in handy for a number of projects. The coroplast can be used to make storage boxes or a tailbox for your bike. The steel frames can be welded together to make baskets or you can bend them into fender mounts. The large signs can be used for fairings. All free for the taking, but do it after the election.

Yes, a much better use for the signs.:D:D:D

I've used them to make fenders and electric powered model flying wings.

Great idea, Kid! Not that I'm encouraging anyone to steal, but they could definitely be put to better use!

I like the "flying wings" idea. That sounds like fun.

Grant, what does your sig mean? My wife and I plugged it into the translator at InterTran, and came up with "Void Tenacity Dispatch East Off" if Italian, and "Nulla Grasping Reciprocally Is Road" if it's Latin. So, apart from the amusing translations (for more entertainment, go to www.engrish.com), what do YOU think it means?

The axiom "Nulla tenaci invia est via" - for the tenacious no road is impassable.]

Cool. Now all I have to do is build one, and a mount on the trikes to carry it to our county facility for rc aircraft. It's a great design, and can act as a canopy for the trikes while tranporting it.
I convinced almost all the neighbors on the block to get signs for their lawns. I contacted the committeepeople from both parties so they can deliver them. There are 4 races in the area, so I should be able to get over 50 signs without having to travel, plus whatever I could get from around the neighborhood. That's a lot of steel rod and coroplast for free.
