Many of our custom machines require extra long cable not always easy to find. Also, any time you can run a cable without a housing it will eliminate a lot of friction on the cable. Where the cable is outside the housing it can be spliced to get any length required and you can use salvaged cable. Take a cable clamp bolt, the kind with the hole, and drill out the hole just large enough to get two cables thru and you have a clamp for splicing cables.
