Nice work pcorbett. I was going to ask the same question, but you already answered it.

NICE build! Every Cad-do needs wide white walls, very fitting. With the larger wheels, I assume it rolls forever. Have you found that to be true?

When I first saw the TourMaster I knew it was crying out for balloon white walls. This thing is a RoadMaster. It has a nice soft roll to it. Rims and tires came from (the rear triangle) my pugs bike. He liked the tires too so I put some on his new bike. " http://home.comcast.net/~ppcorbett/PugHammer9a.JPG "

All you need now is a classic chrome springer front end.

That was my thought too but I'm thinking more towards big oversized flaring fenders with a Caddy hood ornament and a beer holder.

That's a real nice build.

Congratulations,

Give us all a ride report soon when you've given it a good try out.

Good call. Don't forget the bullet tail lights. Can't wait to see it finished and painted. What color are you going with?

Nice work, PC. I think you are the first person to finish one of those. Am I right?

I took the Caddy out for a good spin. I first had to improve the gears on the rear, added a front derailer, removed some links, weld on a cable stop, fixed a flat, put on hand grips, a steering head nut, threw some pad on the seat, attached my seat bag, tossed in my i-pod, had a pee, and hit the road. Yes yes.

I took the State Park bike route and got out to the Rail Trail. Smooth as silk. Nice and comfy steering control. I crossed Main and onto what some people call a side walk. It is nasty with all it's woop-te-doos caused by tree roots. But, with the Tourmaster's long length and balloon tires it's not too bad. My Meridian bounces me off my seat on this same sidewalk. My Meridian has frame flex where the Tourmaster just has tire bounce.

I like the ride very much. Compared to the Meridian, it's two different bikes. Oh and you get the looks! ;)
