Why not just build the Delta Wolf with a trunk on the back as others have done? Isn't it basically what you are looking for?

Yeah but DeltaWolf is a lot lighter built vehicle, &it's axle bracket doesn't allow for easy trunk const.- could be done that way, kust fishing for ideas.

Weld the main boom to the center bearing mount. If you want the platform perfectly level, the boom will have to come up at an angle to allow a BB height of at least 13". Then make the side struts go down to the main boom. If the seat is to go between the wheels and you want the same size cargo platform, you'll also have to make the platform longer.
As trikeman suggested, you could make a DW with the platform, but use 2" tubing, dual rear brakes, a 3/4" axle and cast bearings.
Bear in mind that this is a heavy trike, and with 26" wheels, you may find a motor or very low gearing is necessary for carrying heavy loads.

The Kid's on the right track/trike? I'm gonna chew on that for a few, thanks all.

The new Load Runner abuilds! I'm pretty excited about progress- a mostly complete frame, The Kid's suggest. to weld main boom under the back frame is giving me just the amount of "rake" to the frame I think I was looking for.
So now let's build some 29" wheels for the rear! Anyone out there with apair of 29" rims to sell or swap?
A friend has a 24" Giant mountain bikew/ a trashed bottom bracket he has donated to my cause, and I'm pretty well sold on the 24" front fork & wheel from that- rock shock and all. Those items and a freewheel from bikepartsusa should keep me moving forward for a bit.
