April 25 & 26 Michigan!

Wanted to let you guys know that the Sat. (April 25th), The FreakBike Militia - Great LAKES will be doing a ride /picnic on Bell Isle in Detroit. Starts at 10:00 a.m. til around 4:00 p.m. The first 50 custom bike recieve a free gift! :shock: This is a great ride and is open to ALL styles of bikes. Fun and games. Somebody also mentioned a Pixie sidehack Jousting match or two! 8)
Later that night we usually head out to Ann Arbor and camp out on the fairgrounds (same place as the show). There are showers available but no electricity. Get with me if you're interested and I'll give ya more info. Late Sat. night we usually have Pixie Drags or something in the parking lot. Then Sunday is the Ann Arbor Bike Show/Swapmeet!

We'll have an area for our FBM/FBN swag and info plus an area to Shoot the bull and relax. We should have our new stickers by then so stop by! Mention RRB, Atomic Zombie or the FreakBike board and I'll hook you up with a couple of free stickers! :wink:

Sounds like a cool event wish indiana had a freakbike nation.
Won't be able to get there this year.
Wife is laid off and I ain't working.

May have my tadpole ready by then.

Maybe someone from indiana is going and I could hitch a ride LOL.

Over on the RatRodBikes board there are a few guys from your state. I know most of the RRB guys are into all types of bikes and they're always looking for someone to ride with. I think FatTony is from Indiana and he usually goes to the Ann Arbor show, as well as a few others. So you might be able to hook up with them.

Just went to your site some of those rides are out there.

Not so sure Im a freak yet though till I build something from my own design.

Maybe when things get better here, having hard enough time scrounging parts to get wifes tadpole done lol.

If I can scrounge enough parts together I think I want to build a meridian type bike with an unpowered detachable side car.

A guy down the street wants meridian, but wants to be able to put a kid carrier on it.

I think a sidecar be better.

Just an idea though.
