Century Model - 125GL - possible buy...

Greetings everyone,

I've found on craigslist a Century Wire Welder - Model 125GL, just needs to have a new lead. I'm seeking anyone's input about this wire welder - it's just a flex wire, no gas, but a conversion kit can be purchased for it. As for the "lead" for it, which I'm not for sure what that means or how much it would run. I'll be calling to see about price for it and figure the price of the machine if it would be worth getting - right now the price is good I think, but don't know if this is a good welder or not....If I get it, I'll post the price that I get it for...

Century welders go for 300 bucks and up new. Depending on the model and the asking price, it may be a good deal, if the parts are cheap enough.
