have been thinking about a short wheeled base recumbent for awhile now i want something to put on the front of my tractor so when the day is done i can ride back to the work Ute ( pick up ).
i have thought about full suspension as i want some comfort when i go for a ride. i still have to work out a few bugs yet but i have found a 20 inch full suspension mountain bike to use and a seat off an ex cerise machine it is thin but has some padding on it for my but. more soon

There is a pic in the Builder's Gallery of something like you are talking about parked in front of a trailer. That one appears to be using 26" tires but I think you could do something similar with 20"

hi Greg that is close to what i would like to do, but i forgot to mention that i want to make it front wheel drive and have an electric assist on the back wheel.
i think i have worked out how to mount the drive on the front wheel but there will be some testing on that one.
as for the back electric drive that is easy i will run the same six speed gears the bike came with and run a custom sprocket on the other side and attach the motor to that. mmmm
any way photos soon.

I'll be waiting to see your progress. That was the first bike I actually seriously thought about when I realized that I wasn't going to ride DF bikes anymore. I almost bought one and then decided that I wanted a LWB bent instead.:jester:
