Those last two remind me of the Good Humor man, Marvin, and Joe the Italian ice guy back in the 50's. We lived in Brooklyn, in the last days of horse drawn fruit carts, bicycle vendors, and trolleys. By the early sixties, the fruit man retired, Marvin was driving a truck, and Joe had a storefront.

Maybe we'll get back to some of those down to earth pedal cart street vendors. I grew up in Oregon and have just recently discovered the wonders of the Big Apple. My wife and son "talked me into" going there acouple years ago. Wow, what an incredible place. You must have such great memories!
