Brad,
I'm just beginning to build my 4th Meridian. Can you see any problem if I build it with the Delta Wolf, above seat steering arrangement, instead of the upside down goose neck thingy in the Meridian plans? I think this makes a lot more sense.

Also, I have been experimenting with a ventilated, spring mounted seat. As you know, your back gets really hot on a bent. Also, every bump, kicks you in the bottom, because you can't stand on the pedals. Will post a couple of pix, if I can make it work.

Thanks,

Don

I don't understand. The Meridian steering is almost exactly like the DW OSS.
The pilot tube is a bit longer on the Meridian, but other than that it's the same. There's an upside down steerer/ head tube assembly on the WildKat for USS. Is this what you mean?

Almost the same, except the gooseneck is inserted upside down in the pilot tube on the Meridian, and right side up on the DW

Now I get it. I forgot about that in the plans, I built my Meridian 2 years ago. I didn't go that route. I made the pilot tube higher, then used the DW method and used a long stem. I made my DR the same way.
