If you have reading about frame building for long, you have undoubtedly heard of the Paterek Manual on frame building, which is considered "The Bible" by many frame builders. Tim Paterek finally got tired of a Russian site allowing illegal downloads of his manual (normally $75) and has made an older version of the manual available on his site for free. Its mostly about building lugged and lugless brazed Chromo tube bikes, but well worth the download just for some of the tips and general knowledge if you are interested in building bikes. Its 434 pages (about 8 megabytes).

he also has the frame design and plotter programs for free on that site. I thought they were paid programs, but they are free.
