The Kiddie Car!
Picked this up a few days ago, for when my little neices visit (yeah, right). It had been sitting in the back storeroom, collecting dust (literally) since Christmas, at our local Tractor Supply.
The chain wouldn't stay on it, & apparently, they didn't know how to fix it, so I got 10% off of the price, for buying it "as is".
Took me about 15 minutes to diagnose & fix the problem. Turns out, the front sprocket was out of alignment. Well worth the 16 dollars I saved on the price, I think.
Kinda cute, & fun for "putting around the yard", as it's geared very low. The neices love it! (I've ridden it a little, myself :p)

AIN'T THAT THE TRUTH?
But then again, our folks didn't have the kool "adult toys" that WE have, either! ;)

It's the very same one, Kid. Only, mine doesn't have that front body shell.
Believe it or not, with the seat in the extreme rear position like that, it's actually big enough for an adult to ride, & since the seat is merely a square peg that sits in a square hole through the frame, you simply lift it off & place it in another hole to reposition it. In the extreme forward position, my youngest neice can ride it (barely) & she's only 4, so seat adjustability is huge! (and simple)
The chain on this thing is massive, too. It's like the ones used on go-karts. Unfortunately, that makes it harder to service & more expensive to replace, so one is well advised to keep it lubed!

If you bring the chain in to a lawnmower/snowthrower service shop, they can often match up the size of chain, and cut you a custom length. They have chains on hundred- and thousand-foot rolls, so they can make it whatever length you want.

It's probably #25 or #35 chain. That stuff is pretty heavy, and chances are you'll never have to replace it.
I toyed with the idea of buying one of these a couple of years ago. It's hard to believe they're designed for 5 year olds to adults. Yhey also have options including a 7 speed tranny with reverse. Here's he link:

"On Sale" for $429?!!!! GEEZ! They're proud of theirs, aren't they?
The same thing at Tractor Supply (minus the nose-piece cover), is $159, regular price, although they usually only show up at Christmas time, around here, anyway. And believe me, that's about ALL they're worth, cuz even though they're built heavy as a tank, a lot of things on 'em are really crude & cheap.
A fun toy, but not something you wanna spend much money on.
