Hi,

I'm up here in Green Bay, WI. Any other builders in this neck of the woods?

I've been torn between building a StreetFox tadpole or a Delta Runner. Now along comes the Warrior tadpole and I'm in a quandry. Well, not so much of a quandry as it is that I've been thinking again .... a dangerous thing for me to do.

Anyway, I think I've settled on the StreetFox. This is mainly because I've come into possession of a set of 20" 64 spoke BMX wheels along with a set of 20" 48 spoke BMX wheels. Now this morning I've come into a nice 24" rear wheel. All this is pushing me towards the tadpoles. Since I'll not be racing but just mostly cruising or biking while my dog trots along, I like the idea of the higher seat position of the StreetFox. So that's where I'm headed ... probably.

I'm heavy at 260#, so I'll be putting gussets in at most if not all joints.

It sure would be nice to meet another AZ builder or two.

Welcome aboard. As long as you are going to take the dog along, you might want to build the tadpole with provisions like this:

Thanks for the welcome and the dog option. My dog, an English Springer Spaniel, runs alongside of me when I ride my bike. He'll probably do the same with the trike.

I bought the plans for both the StreetFox and the Warrior. It's not farfetched for me to end up with some sort of hybrid, especially with regard to the shock absorber on the soft tail StreetFox and the Warrior.
