I made this jig to make sure my steer tube axis intersected the center of my tire surface.
A random spring holds the tube into the angle, and the J-shaped pointer telescopes in and out
and can be tightened in place. Took about 20 minutes to tack it all together, and another 5
to calibrate the pointer using a long piece of 1-inch rod to ensure the pointer was indicating
correctly to the the tube axis.
