I have been looking at some of the cool rides and I see some really nice seats, I have looked online and there arent that many suppliers of seats. Does anyone here make them for sale ? Or where are some places that everyone gets them from.

Cheers

I don't think he sells them, but for my money there are no better tutorials for making a EuroMesh seat on the internet than those from our own John Lewis, as partially referenced here:

This chap (http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/marcin5753/) sells them on ebay in UK.
See one here (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Recumbent-bike-seat-size-M-NEW-DESIGN_W0QQitemZ320426935345QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR?hash=item4a9aef 0431)

I just got my complete M seat (including the seat cover) made by Optima, from recumbentparts.com. It came with DHL in three days from the Netherlands, and it costs 75+65 Eur, plus shipping charges.

Seats are not all that hard to make. If you can build the bike the seat is easy. The moulde wood one is very easy. I put up some pictures of that and the Ventisit style seat pad in my Marauder thread.

Next one I'll try fibreglass, or if I can get some carbon fibre.

Speaking of carbon. Pete Heal made his tail box for his round Aus ride from Carbon fibre. He vacuum bagged it and I believe it weighed just under 1 kg. About 2lbs and was big enough to carry all his gear for 15000km. Should make a great seat.
