Does this work for 3/4" axle shaft mounted disc brakes too? (like on the Delta Wolf?)

In general yes. I think the only concerns may be clearances, etc. The Raider's project in this thread is a DW. I'm using these notes for my Kyoto Cruiser-type rear-end, which is 3/4 " axle-mount and similar to DeltaWolf.
