Reality Check???

I'm thinking of building a lode runner II. I've got three younger kids(2,5, and 8) one of which can't ride a bike yet. I was thinking that my wife and I could ride the LRII with a toddler seat on the back though he might be 3 or 4 by the time it's done. Is this a realistic expectation as to use or am I totally out of my Skull?

P.S. has anyone built one of these before, and how much work would it be for one person to ride one of these things?

I haven't built one but it's on my "Bucket List". A picture on the LR2 page shows Brad and 2 girls on the trike, though one is sitting on the trunk, You should have no problem with 2 adults & a child.
