I'm sure that most of you are familiar with this method, however, just in case there's anyone who isn't, this is an easy way to install your headset cups.
A length of threaded rod, a couple of nuts, & a few large washers, & you can "squeeze" your cups in. Easier than using a mallet, IMO.

Elegant AND cheap. I like it! It beats hammering 'em on with 2 pieces of 2x4 and a deadblow mallet.
One of those is going into my tools ASAP. Thanks for the idea.

I still use the old fashioned way. Start the cups by hand, then press them in with a vise.
