I found some real cheep 20" rims (steel) is there a way to paint them black to match my hubs?

Yep. With paint.
LOL!
I painted mine after taking them apart and cleaning them, then reassembling them. I'm doing it on the cheap, and trying to recycle as much as I can without having to spend much but time and sweat equity:

Did you use primer first?
I'll be painting mine flat (not glossy) black, then connecting to the hubs.

Naa. These were cheapies and this quad is an experiment! I'll do it right when I get all the kinks worked out, and decide which rims will be permanent.

if you are going to paint them you should use primer then paint, even if it is just bomb can. but the best coating for rims is powder coating them. it will last longer and resist chips better.
