Just a quick hey everyone ...

I found this sight while looking round the internet looking for HPV's as this economy is driving me to the poor house. I live in a 30' camp trailer, but had to sell the rig that pulled it. Now my wheels are a Honda Silver wing scooter w/a 550cc engine. Not quite big enough to pull the camper.

Am looking at possibly building a trike or a quad. This site is (pardon the expression) "The Cats Meow". Everyone seems so helpful here, from what I have been reading.

At anyrate I live ENE of Ocala, in Marion county in the North Centrial part of Florida. I chose my handle because, am not sure how much longer I will be able to afford the bike. What with all of the fees going up, gas prices, not to mention ins. costs. But I also know that I am not alone in this crisis.

Sorry if I ranted a bit, just letting off some steam.

As PeterT said, keep your camera handy during the build and post lots of pix.

Thank you for the encouragement everyone.

Not just sure when I will get the money together for the cds that I want, maybe after New Years'. But do I know that I want the choppers cd, and then probably the 5 build cd.

I grew up on a farm, but for the last 35 odd yrs have been a cook. So will have to brush up on my welding, and building things out of other things. Should be a lot of fun at any rate.

Saw a couple of bikes put out for collection yesterday, so yes I collected em up. Guess that they are the seeds from which my builts will grow. LOL.

Yes when I start to build, pics-o-plenty will be a commin' this way.
