I got a call this morning from my LWB owner. He has a customer who has a Lightfoot Greenway, and it was being brought in for service. He knows the quad I'm building has a rear end similar to that. The customer left before I could get there, but I was given permission to try out the Greenway. It's fast, comfortable, and easy to ride, even for people like me who need a BB below the seat level. The seat height is about the same as the Meridian, as is the BB height. It did feel a little tippy, due to my size and the seat height, so a wider wheelbase would be better for people my size. This Greenway has dual rear wheel drive, like my quad will have. It allows extra power for hill climbing or slippery conditions, and all you have to do is shift one side to a higher gear when making turns. I didn't particularly like the looks of it, and the pilot headset for the linkage steering is too far forward for my taste. What did occur to me was that if I reversed the idea I had last year to make the Meridian a LWB tadpole, I could make the rear of the DW wider and lower than the main boom, essentially making it a Meridian delta.
