Bought the steel tube had to buy 40mm.
I haven't used a MIG welder for over 10 years so the first go was chasing holes. Got it right the second time. Will start on the main frame tonight.

Purchased the pillow blocks $96 au for 4 I am using a 15mm shaft

$96?!!!! You must've done like me, & stocked up, eh? I bought a dozen, enough for 3 trikes, but so far, I've only used 4.
Na they were $28 each the cheapest I could find

Ouch!!!! $8.99 each at the local Princesss auto (ontario canada). You must of got the gold plated ones!

Surprisingly, the 3/4" ones are cheaper. I got mine for $8 each, including shipping, by buying a dozen.
Since the KC uses 3/4'" axles, I used the same thing on the DW, so I wouldn't have to buy a piece of 5/8" rod as well. This standardized my axles & pillow blocks on both projects, simplifying things, & saved me a few bux on the pillow blocks & axle rod as well.
