Here's a neat idea. Hope it hits the market soon.

But the inventor was murdered.

Stan Meyer's invention started in the early 90's. He was poisoned in an OH restaurant in '98. His files are available:

It turns out that Meyer was a fraud. He invented the cell in 1991. In 1996 he was sued by investors who wanted a return on their investment. He sold the rights to dealerships for $25,000. When an expert from England was to examine the car, Meyer gave excuses so the expert wasn't able to give testimony. The judge ordered that the cell itself be brought in as evidence. A few engineers determined there was nothing new about his invention, it was a simple electrolysis device. Meyer was ordered to return the cash.
He was eating in a restaurant in Ohio in 1998, when he jumped up and collapsed. He died of what was diagnosed as an aneurism. His friends insist he was poisoned. The plans for his device are on the Internet, anybody with a little knowledge about assembling it can make it, so the conspiracy theory goes out the window.

I believe mythbusters did a segment on the electrolysis hydrogen fuel cel and determined that it was bogus.

As I started looking into this, something seemed wrong. The videos about his death were vague. In some, he claims to have been offered a billion dollars by the Arabs to shelve his invention, and he says he was threatened numerous times. Now it also turns out he has a twin brother who is in hiding so the Arabs won't kill him as he continues his brother's work. Meanwhile, the plans for the thing are all over the place, so why is he hiding? My guess is that there is no twin brother, Meyer was threatened by people he scammed, and he faked his death to throw them off.

I think I will just continue to focus my efforts on what is commonly called "Mason Jar Fusion." That was the cold fusion hoax perpetuated at the University of Utah(?) a few years ago. All you needed was some equipment, some wires and a few glass canning jars like my mom used to put up preserves with (Mason Jars) and off you went.

I know, we could grow lemon trees, squeeze the juice out, mix it with water and fill 5000 mason jars.
Then if we put a copper wire in at one side and another wire of a special secret soft metal that I've invented and can supply for a vast sum and then connect them all together we could extract enough usable power to drive the car.:D:D

I have 3 lemon trees I could chip in. By the way you can weld with water. I have a hydroflux torch I use for jewelry work. Distilled water, a little solution and power and away we go.

Speaking of lemons, I've used lemon juice as a flux for stained glass work and some electrical soldering. It worked well.

I've built some lemons in the past:D
but overall I prefer my lemons in a 1liter stein with 1/4 bottle of gin, topped up with tonic water:cool: nothing better on a hot summers evening. (assuming you dont have to go anywhere after)

If anyone wants the recipe for the worlds best gin and tonic just ask.
