Hi,
I am new to the forums, but came here because I saw some projects and became very interested in the Night Vision head gear Project (Project 51 in the Evil Genius book). With that said, I am trying to start this project and read through the book but I am having problems, so any help would be great.
I have all of the materials but I am confused beyond belief with the viewfinder. I searched around for an old camera I had which was a Minolta Master 8-428 Camcorder from 1991. I took the viewfinder out, and now I am looking at the circuit boards and wires and I cannot figure it out for the life of me. So if anyone could help that would be great. Here are my questions:
Which wires are for power, ground, video input, etc?
How will I power up the viewfinder... with a battery? If so, what kind?
How do i connect it to a live video feed to test it?
I am experienced in working with electronics, and I usually work on PC's and laptops. I am also experienced with soldering. Basically, I am not sure what I am looking at when it comes to the viewfinder as it is foreign to me. Can anyone help? Also, I can take pictures if anyone thinks that would help. Thanks!
