Sounds about the same level I've got to with my Warrior build. I got sidetracked into building a ridiculous chopper thing as I wanted to weld something and had some tubing in the shed. Only started the Warrior last week, managed to make the rear forks and have bought some front hubs on ebay.

I havn't had chance to shop much for my front wheel setup yet! do you happen to know if standard 20" spokes will work to lace a 20mm hub into a 20" wheel a have NO experience lacing wheels

Hi there

There are loads of spoke length calculators on the web just do a google search.

Something like this :-

http://www.wheelpro.co.uk/spokecalc/

find one you like add the required dimensions and it will give you a spoke length.

As brad says there is more myth surrounds this than any other part of bicycle knowledge , but in the end you just sit down with the bit's and get on with the job , least it can be attempted again and again till you get it right.

I chickened out on building front wheels, main reason is I callled terra trike and for 150.00 i can get both wheels shipped to me complete

cost of parts is more than that
