the delta runner plans mention double walled rims for the rear wheels. are these okay? is a cross brace considered a double wall?

they are also 48 spokes, which adds to the strength, right? 48 spokes is okay for the DR? i hope i wouldnt have to change the axle or something. i already ordered the 5/8 pillow block bearings.

Hmmm - Well, I was just thinking of getting some double walled rims from the bike shop, but on the way to work this morning I realized they were 32 hole and I need at least 36 hole. So going to 48 hole you'd be okay - it would be stronger, but do you really need to go to 48 hole for the added expense of more spokes and also having to find a template for the hubs using 24 holes.

I think Brad would say it would be okay, but going with 36 hole would be good too.

Looks like a good choice.

i didnt know what the heck you were talking about. i see a word like "presta" and "pasta" jumps up in my mind and i started getting hungry.
anyway, i googled it and it said i need to keep a converter or something like that. you mean it takes presta tubes, right?
