Well thanks go to richie rich, brad and whoever else helped me figure out how to use my spokes that came with my wheelset. Just got done lacing my wheels and setting tension on them. That spoke calculator must of been dead on cause, after I laced em and tightened them, to where they go ping ping ping like old ones did. And pre-stressing them and tweaking them a little more...
I wont have to spend much time at all trueing just did a test on them and the are just barely out of true.
Fingers are tired and back is killin me or I would just finish them.
Ended up welding my flanges to the axle" laughing hard"
Did not like the way the bolts and stuff looked.
"laughing again" should of just listened to Brad on that one.
I did end up making disc adapters to bolt on the brakes to the axle though.
2.5" round washer and a 3/4" shaft collar welded together worked great.
Will let ya know how well it holds up under braking.
I am also using a key way and set screw for my schimano adapter.
This way I can loosen all the set screws disconnect 4 bolts on brakes and pull axles out without having to remove pillow block bearings (just in case) I want to switch between road tires and knobby tires.
Would have just welded it all if I had more pillow blocks.
Still no camera.
By the time I find a camera I'll be ready for a gallery PIC....
With dual rear disc brakes do I even need a front Brake...
