Here are some more pictures of the kickstand and info on how I created it.
I used a standard Axiom bike rack. I removed all of the hardware and cut the curved extension off of the right hand side of the leg. (Picture 8)
I used 1/2 inch aluminum tubing to create the main support legs and 1/2" aluminum rod for the cross members. I drilled and tapped the cross members after grinding the curves to fit the tubing. Put it all together and added 1/2" rubber feet that I purchased at the local hardware store.
I now need to work on a solution for quick attachment for when I am riding, cable ties work but they are not the final solution.
