I was thinking of trying a Spirit SWB or maybe a Tomahawk next. I'm only 5'-6'' with a recumbent inseam of about 38". Do you think it would work out OK, or would I have crank overlap?

What about a Highroller, maybe with 24" wheels?

thanks

The spirit I built is for my son and he is about your height. He has no problems riding it.

With the Spirit (I am building if for my Wife who is 5'4") you can avoid crank overlap by moving the seat back forward to avoid shortening the wheelbase beyond the measurement in the plans.

I think the Highroller plans explains this situation - 24" wheels would allow you to put your feet on the ground. If just putting a tiptoe on the ground (or at least not planting both feet feet) doesn't bother you then you could still go with 26"
