I'm getting a little screwed up from the paint fumes. Here's the fork, with elongated diamonds on the sides and crown painted silver flake. The maroon comes up closer to it's true color when the pic is taken at dusk. The flakes in the silver and maroon still don't show.

Slick!
Did you do the radial wheel as well?

The wheel is from a chopper I found a while back. It had two 68 spoke wheels, and cantilever brakes, so I kept those. I use the BB as a tester. It's on the Hauler now. But the wheels were the best assets. I have three more 68 spoke wheels, and plan on using 2 of them on the rear of the hauler.

Nice work, Kid. I love the way that fork hangs off of the bottom side of the axle, chopper style. The wheel is choice!

Thanks Joey. I only wish I had 24" or 26" rear wheels with the same spoke pattern. I'll settle for the 20's and hope I have a derailler with sufficient ground clearance. Otherwise, I may have to buy one.

I just disassembled the 68 spoke wheels for the rear, and welded the inserts into the hubs. Tomorrow, I'll drill the inserts out to 5/8" and weld the hubs to the axles, then paint them black to match the front wheel. Also working on the spinners, but I have to make a new template, because I lost the first one. I wish they were 72 spoke wheels, then I'd just double up on the holes in the 26" rims I have.
