Hello,

I am interested in any knowledgeable advice for two applications:

Converting my MB (700c wheels) to electricity, 25 max mph, hold 15-20 mph up a steep hill. Electric rider recommends their pheonix brute on 36 V and getting 20 mph max.

Want to build a Silent Speedster with 20 in wheels to get 30-35 mph max with 20 up a steep hill.

Will a crystalite 600 watt motor on 36v come close for either of these aps.?

Wanna leave my Prius in the garage for short trips into town. (it's such a gas hog)

Knees and heart too old to pedal up the hill.

Regards,
John C.

Howdy John;
The Crystalite 405 is a high speed motor made for a 20" rim & should give close to the performance you want. You might contact Earl at the PoweRide Store & see what he thinks.
Take it EZ;

I'm wanting to go the same route, & eventually change the charging system to solar, but right now it's still too cost-prohibitive for me, even without the solar part.

John, keep me posted on your progress, as I'm practically transportationless right now, & really hoping to make something like this happen in the not-too-distant future.

BTW guys, welcome to the Krew, both of you! :)
