so I read about some of the problems associated with LWB tadpole design (mainly frame twist, and instability) so as planned how much does this baby (the SF) weigh? I like the idea of a full fairing to make it an (most) all weather mobile, and keeps me from having to put my feet down.

Right now I have a old Infinity (LWB, USS) which I really like but I want the all weather fairing sort of thing. I really like Reg Rodaro's Stormy Weather designs too. I guess I'm just trying to figure out how to do this the cheapest way possible...that may prove to be the biggest challenge of all.

Mine weighed 48 lbs. with an 8 speed derailler system, but I have some added weight due to my chain arrangement. If I convert to Brad's plans, I could probably shed 4 lbs. It now weighs over 50 lbs because I switched to an 8 speed internal hub.

Wow, with my 190 that's a lot to move around...of course that's the purpose as a side thing...to get my 190 down...

Yup! Weighs a heck of a lot more than a carbon fibre wedgie, but a hell of a lot less than an SUV.

I weigh over 250, and I have disabilities, but it's easy to pedal. I have it geared way low for hills. On flats, I could start with the middle chain ring and in third gear on the rear hub without a problem.

Well, that's it then...I'll have to find the cash for the plans...and then a welder...

BTW, would these be easy to scale down for kids? My four really like the idea of 6 of these (2 adult, 4 kids) cruising down the street together...

You could make them using 16 inch wheels and 1.25 inch tubing for the kids.

Just rode my delta wolf, with me and my 355 pounds on it.
Mind you was only around the block.
But was easy to get moving.
I was cooking on it too.
With no brakes.
