View Full Version : Full Suspension StreetFox help

I’m in the planning stages of building a modified StreetFox type tadpole trike but with FULL suspension and need help/suggestions for the front portion. I can go with dual A-arms like a Steintrike but would like info on an HP Velotechnik type of front suspension that uses modified “head tubes” as it would be a lot easier to build. I have also thought of a design based on an original VW Beetle front but it would be very costly and heavy. Any other ideas out there???

Pantour makes a wheel hub with suspension built into the hub off the axle. See link: www.pantourhub.com/
Not sure if it would work for you, however they have a Trike front wheel with Disc Brake mounting. Don't know how well they work but supposedly it has 3/4 inch travel.
Here is a list of Oregon dealers to check them out:

Not sure if these will work for you. But I have always thought they would make a nice front suspension. But they are costly from the tidbits I have seen. Welcome to the group. Please keep us updated and show us pictures of your build. We love pictures
