Kyoto Questions

Brad,

I have a couple of questions about Kyoto. Really only one now that I've read through the plans.

The first question was 'why right hand steer?', but you answered that in the plans. It's just as well, cause if the wife gets hit, I'll be free to go get help! The things we sacrifice to have a good lookin ride.

The second question is 'can I replace the through bolts on the pillow blocks with studs?' I'm guessing this is a design you have updated, but I wanted to check, just in case.

Yes, you can just cut the bolts or use threded rod segments welded directly to the tubing wall. Just make sure there is a bit of a "well" around the bolt holes on the underside of the pillow blocks to make room for the weld bead around the bolt.
