Hi all, Well my trike ( Marengo ) and I did the LTB and managed to ride every inch, even the dreaded Ditchling Beacon climb at 50 miles into the ride, of the 28500 riders I heard there were only 6 trikes. The climbs were slow but oh boy the downhill section were fun, breezing past the super duper racing bikes like they were standing still !!!! I am afraid I scared a photographer standing on straw bales on a bend at the bottom of a very fast run downhill by drifting rather close to the bales ( hope his camera is ok after his leap backwards) Lots of comments on the trike like how much do they cost, You built it yourself ???and one comment as I flew past a racer was " lets swap at the next rest point":cheesy:. Altogether a great day with marshalls along the route, rescue vehicles to take broken bikes to repair centres a weach rest point( labour free of charge !!!),one thing I noticed, the scenery for the first 10 miles was all the same sitting so low, Buttocks as far as the eye could see:jester:Next year I shall be doing it on the mothballed Viking, would be great to see some other zombies take part in a great fun ride http://s20.postimg.org/atxu7gnod/9_am_group_leaving_london.jpghttp://s20.postimg.org/bxhyjf8bh/views_from_a_trike.jpg John

...wow - that looks like a fun day out! Done a couple of bike rallies over this way, but nothing near the scale of that one. Thanks for sharing....
