The e-bay UK advert at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mission-Recumbent-cruiser-trike-/251310465558?pt=UK_Toys_Games_Outdoor_Toys_Bikes_R ide_Ons_LE&hash=item3a83456216 shows a really novel little Delta trike where there is no chain but a directly driven front hub-gear and rear-wheel steering. Not seen anything like this before, so thought I would post it here for general comment. Suggests in the Ad that there is a similar machine called a Triton in the US?

This has caught my attention too. My first thought was - looks heavy for no gears! Interesting concept though.

Rear wheel steer toy. I see used ones on CL for $100.

If a novice rider got on that bike and tried to ride away from where it is photographed, they would probably end up in the river!!
I see toooo many problems with rear wheel steering in normal use, even though I have used four wheel steering in competition.

This is kinda like the Mobo Mobito trikes sold in the US :

Saw one and thought rear steering was odd .. but there are some videos online of some people that seem to be (paid advertising) having some fun on them. Not for me though.

Wow, I imagine that the only thing that helps make that thing safe is that it only has one gear, and that it appears to mainly be targeted at small children...

It is interesting that there is an adult model, but in the video I saw he only went straight!
