i decided to put the python away for know thanks to someone suggesting that i model my bike on a proper handcycle i decided it would be easier and this is what i came up withhttp://s26.postimg.org/o77rq2znp/DSCI0039.jpg (http://postimg.org/image/o77rq2znp/)i know the pictures arent great but i did try to get a full length picture as wellhttp://s26.postimg.org/qn9l3xhqd/DSCI0038.jpg (http://postimg.org/image/qn9l3xhqd/)any suggestions would be helpfull remembering that if this design works well i will be building it out of aluminium, the last http://s26.postimg.org/gbx8b9q11/DSCI0031.jpg (http://postimg.org/image/gbx8b9q11/)picture is what it looked like in the thinking stage

What matters most is do you like it? Are your going to use it? It does not really matter what we think. Thank you for sharing your build. So it looks like you have it ridable.
Is it working as planned or will it require more tweaking? At present I have no need of a handcycle myself. But I keep my eyes open incase of any future need.
Just never know in this day and age when one would come in handy. Anyway it looks sturdy and usable. Hoe you get a lot of use out of it.
As to Aluminum hope you either have a tig welder or access to one. Or a spool welder to build it with. Good luck and thanks for sharing.

Welcome back to the forum Mark
its looking good from here , a full side view might give us a better idea , why build it out of alli ? It probably wont be any lighter than steel . regards emma

just for the fun we recently brought a spool gun and were thinking of different thing we can do, these are the only other pictures i have of the build at the momenthttp://s26.postimg.org/dgk54em11/DSCI0033.jpg (http://postimg.org/image/dgk54em11/)http://s26.postimg.org/r05knupdx/DSCI0035.jpg (http://postimg.org/image/r05knupdx/)but it has moved on a bit thats why i put the later pictures on ,the only reason for building it out of aluminium is to tidy the whole thing up

Hi there

Good to see you are building something , it is far easier to alter a build to make it work than sit staring at a blank sheet of paper.

This is aluminium and bolted together but ended up a bit heavy :-

it is going to be usable and its also going to be electric. but im going to make a power wheel for it as a seperate buildhttp://s27.postimg.org/cav7lpc8f/9484684.jpg (http://postimg.org/image/cav7lpc8f/)similar to this i have a couple of kinks to work out, but it means i wont have to carry the batteries about unless im using the electrics, well thats the theory anyway
