I'm looking for a pair of handlebars, we had them on our bikes in the UK in the sixties and they were known as cowhorns just cant seem to find any, the closest I can find to them is cruiser bars. Here's a pair on a retro fixie http://s30.postimg.org/g5whltc7l/cowhorns.jpg

...Ahh yes, cowhorns, now they bring back some memories. I got acquainted with them in the seventies, used on an old bike I cobbled together for general hacking.

True story this, an old schoolmate had a brainwave that he was going to put real cowhorns on his bike, so persuaded me to come along to the local abattoirs of an evening when no one was about, with the intention of liberating a set. We looked in various skips that contained different animal parts, and he eventually spotted one with cow heads. He didn't go through with retrieving his prized trophy - think we had both seen enough at that point to give us nightmares. I dunno, things you do as a kid eh...........
