I could not resist it.
At 400w its more powerful than some of the others I have seen and with 3 interchangeable heads it looks good for a wide range of jobs.

It looked like the last one there in my local store, so you may have to hurry.

Will have to check out the Aussie stores and see if its a world wide event!
Is it 240V or rechargeable battery power?

Hi Steve,

It is mains powered.
Aldi is a German Supermarket chain that has taken on the UK giant chains (and is winning).
I looked at the alternatives online (post-purchase) just to torture myself and was relieved to see that there are many international brands with power ranging from 260W - 360W that are more expensive.
However, with international brands you probably get better after-sales service. But this one has a 3 year warranty so that's <£10 P.A. for a nice versatile tool.

Got one it is great.
Replacement belts from screwfix.
Just remember to fit new belts the right way round, or they last just seconds.

Recommend you get one, fab for finishing welds.
