My buddy just dropped by with a 24" bike with like new Halo(?) tires. They're rated for up to 85psi, which should be fine for the Hauler. They have some tread, but the center has two raised strips that seem to allow the tire to act as slicks. I looked them up for more info and found these links:

Nice rubber. I like the style. Just a tad pricey for my tastes though, for new ones, anyway.

I got lucky. I was going to just use the 24's in winter with the knobby's from another bike. This bike came just in time, because I needed another rear derailler, headset, and a BB.
