    OK .. a better day

In previous posts I was concerned about the retaining ring,
holding up under this type of steering stress.

I welded in a second 'nub', and filed it down until it fits like a...

Need to set up, so early to get up

Started at 5:45 am, this morning.
The amount of light is changing with the season, so it was still a little dim.

I had some setting up to complete, before...

    Thanks Danny

OK, This is NOT, a 'radius' rod.

I figured, that while I had the drill press set up, I might as well get the rest of the holes done.

Opportunity to teach some shop know how and...

    Re: Ed's 'StreetRunner' Quad Build

I have a couple of MTB shocks. But from what I know about them they are not true 'shocks'.
Rather, they are just springs that look like shocks.
That in itself is OK, but at a load rate of +/- 400...

    Hi Bruce

    Re: Ed's 'StreetRunner' Quad Build

A 'gladius' rod it is not,
but a 'radius' rod I sought.

As mentioned before, the axle now pivots, so some sort of dampening system is in order.

    I have ordered a rod end kit (8 ends) 3/8" x...
