    The kids bikes I have dismantled [ 20" wheels ] have had 450lb springs ? they may work better for you.

    Ah that explains this then



    Due to your short appendages I would suggest getting rid of as much of the hardware as you can that sits between the chain stays near the seat tube ?

    Moving along nicely there Dan.

    I would now approach this from the other end ?

    As you have your front wheel mounted in a fork I would continue the rest of the frame so it can sit on 3 wheels.

    Test ride accomplished without drama , couple niggling things :-

    Shifter is friction found I now need to be more precise as I have 6 cogs in the same space as 5 used to live.
