    Re: Danny's Daily Delta

    Hey Danny,

You seem to have wandered a little off target with the welds there. Sometimes the arc can drift, and you have to kinda force it back where you want it - be masterful!

    Did you put a...

.....didn't notice the packing piece. If it was left a bit proud along where you were going to weld, then I'd say no filler needed, just a sort of weave after initial pool formed, side to side as you...

    Re: Danny's Daily Delta

    Hi Danny,

I'm in a picky kinda mood this morning...........so there .

    Hi Emma,

So sorry to hear of your recent loss - never easy losing a parent.

I do hope your plans in the future for a new workshop all work out.

Thoughts are with you - Frank.

LWB - Converting OSS(ASS) to USS

.....heh heh, gotta love those TLA's.

Well now, been running my easy rider LWB for a couple of years now in it's current guise, but fancied a change. Must admit the high rise bars win on looks,...

Re: The Crane - tandem tadpole -

I don't have access to double butted tube, but effectively do the same thing using short inserts where the join is. Can be seen here on some handlebars I made recently:

Hello Matt and James, welcome to the forum.

Don't think there are many on here from Ireland, or Thailand for that matter, but you never know about the lurkers eh.

Re: Bike building Days are probably over.

Hey DTD - very sorry to hear about your health issues. In all the years I've been on AZ, you have too, so to me you're very much 'part of the furniture'. I hope you plan to stay in an advisory role,...

    Hey Ed,

Nice looking frame you're doing there. I'm a newcomer to using galvanised tubing, only recently discovered it at the local steel shop. Great stuff to work with, and TIGs nicely with no...

When you say 'Hit a huge pothole, and the truss frame will fail. It's stiff, but not forgiving' - what is this based on?

    Inner tube stems

Strange thing happened the other day, went to fit a new 20" innertube on my SWB, and the valve was nearly twice as long as I'd ever seen before.
No way was it going to fit, so back to the local bike...
