Re: Brake levers for 1"/26mm bars?

I'm looking for new. I use Niagara Cycle but every one I see is a "cross lever" which can't be used as the only lever, correct?

If you could point me towards a part # I'd forever be grateful.

    Brake levers for 1"/26mm bars?

Can anybody point me towards brake levers for 26mm/1" handlebars that won't break the bank?

    Thanks!

    Brake lever leverage?

Kind of an oddball question but here goes. With disc brakes, is there a way to increase the final leverage at the end of the line at the calipers to reduce the force needed on the lever?

Need some advice on caliper IS mounting

    Hey guys!

I'm trying to come up with a custom solution to mount an Avid BB7 caliper backwards using an IS type mount. I believe the mount I am after is for a 203MM rotor(which I am using) but I'm...

Re: Any current source for the 3/4 rotor hub?

    One last question.

Noticed that EVERY single one of those adapters I have found online are coming from China. Any leads on some in the US, or a part number?

    Thanks!

    Handlebar sizes

I have been crafting handlebars from 7/8" OD aluminum tube and it has been working well but I'm wondering what other sizes are out there? Basically the only reason I have been using the 7/8" is so I...

Re: Any current source for the 3/4 rotor hub?

One last question....What size bolt pattern would a SRAM style 203MM disc be? 44mm or 48mm? I only ask because I see two different sized freewheel/disc brake adapters.

    Thanks!

Re: Any current source for the 3/4 rotor hub?

Did not know the thread on freewheel adapter even existed! That is the route I will be going.

Anything in particular that should be done when installing the adapter to keep it firmly in place?...

Any current source for the 3/4 rotor hub?

Hey guys! Now that AZ is no longer producing the hubs to mount the MTB disc to the 3/4" axle, is there anybody who does?

    Shimano UN55 single speed help

    Hey guys!

I'm trying to set up a bike economically with a Shimano UN55 BB. It's going to be a single speed only.

Need recommendations on crank arms and a chain ring on the cheap.

Wow, thanks for elaborating on that! Never realized (or gave any thought) there is any significant out of roundness.

Today I put the finishing touches on a project I've been tinkering on for 6 years. One or two Atomic Zombie parts on it, freewheel/disc brake adapters mostly.

Re: Chain works with chain-ring but not sprocket

Ended up using some axle grease I had. My chain is not a true half link(just at the master link) so I believe orientation doesn't matter.

    Quick questions:

Which lube for the bottom bracket?

Also with my setup which way should I orient the half link chain?

Yeah that's pretty much it, just for the fun and adventure. Mainly I just need a place to put the brake and throttle levers.
