    Love a good 'Mock Up'

    Its almost the best part.

thanks edspedalcars....its taking shape..i think its quite important to conceptualize before construction and run by the roof of your pants when a disaster design wise happens. As long as you can think outside the box
but within the frame work of a good working model as far as function goes then it should be all ok in the end.famous last words....ive tried to think ahead of time ie...where the chain flows from and too etc etc etc....
If it all turns to custard and ive had a battle of waterloo and its a complete flop then at least it will make good fire wood...though very expensive firewood.

Ed_Pedalcar uses the same method for pre-build. And it looks to be good. I'd run a chain to be sure. I believe there is going to be a lot of interference with the rear and your cross supports. But it could be just viewing angle of the photos. Not sure how your doing your steering. Which can also interfere with chain. But keep on going. It is a nice layout.

    Hi

an interesting project , my concerns would be the middle joint the bus considerable weight and forces acting as a "fulcrum" in that position even my folder has had a problem at that point ( hinge flange ) the additional forces in addition to the weight of rider and frame there is the extra inertia of the mass bouncing over uneven ground .

    regards Emma
