Thread: upload page not working

    Default upload page not working

The link called upload at the top will take you to the page where you can select different pics to load in bulk. After you select your pics to post, andfill the required boxes, then it goes to the upload page here: http://forum.atomiczombie.com/gallery/upload.php, then it freezes on that blank page.

    What browser are you using?
Unless this is a recent glitch, it sound like something at your end or I would have been hammered with emails.

    Thanks,

It did work before the AZ site shutdown a little while back. . All of my pics were loaded using it. I use Chrome. Is there a more compatible browser.?

I have noticed over the past couple of months that Chrome really sucks, esp. uploading pics to Facebook and other photo sharing and social media sites. It used to be reliable, but I've given up using it.

FWIW, I tried to upload 5 random pics, and got the same result. I waited 6 minutes before, quitting. I was also using chrome. Haven't tried anything else yet. I'm working on another project, but wanted to see if I would get the same result. (Maybe it's just taking longer).

    Exclamation Re: upload page

Uploader not working with either Chrome, Explorer or Firefox. Tech gurus have been dispatched to troubleshoot. Stay tuned.

Please refrain from posting about your individual technical issues until we have posted an update about this particular problem, as we can only address one issue at a time.

There will be more issues to deal with when we introduce a completely new forum and gallery this year; however, at the moment, we are only focusing on getting the gallery uploader to work properly.

    Thanks.

Ok, then gallery is up and running again.
Seems there was a whatchamacallit not installed in the thingamabob, which caused the doohickey to fail.

I fine tuned it with my angle grinder.

    Cheers,
    Brad

Don't you just hate it when that happens though? ;-)

Indeed! And when you call tech support, they assume you do this for a living. I kid you not, this is how the email conversation went...

Me : Hey, my gallery won't upload after the migration, something must be missing.
Them : Yes, it's missing the GD Apache module.
Me: Ok, how do I fix this.
Them: You simply SSH into the system and recompile Apache with the GD module then reload it.
Me: You lost me at SSH, what is that?

    After that, they did it!
