Diagram 8 on page 136 is a view of the bottom of the frame and shows the linkage going to the right wheel.
page 138 fig 160 mentions right wheel.
Then fig 162 is and actual picture of the front end as viewed from below. If you mentally turn the picture over in your mind, you know the steering link is on the left wheel.
On page 139 the picture below figure 162 makes reference diagram 8 .
The picture in figure 163 on page 140 is definitely the left wheel.
