    frame broke

Your right of course, Paul! What looked like a shadow to me is actually the base material being torn. Sorry about that. I do think that the repair could use some triangulation though. Like so:

    frame broke

There you go! The repair looks good, a much stronger joint overall. But, the original problem looks not like a design issue but rather like a bad weld. The whole weld came off the rear piece, like it was sitting on top of it instead of being part of it. No penetration, which means not enough...

What about a standard trailer carrying a cot tent? https://www.amazon.com/Kamp-Rite-Oversize-Folding-Outdoor-Sleeping/dp/B07L88Q1ND

    Pull behind camper

I've given thought to such a thing but I have to admit that plywood, steel tubing and fiberglass for towing behind a bike sounds quite heavy. Have you looked into corrugated plastic?

    Cost of building

I built my Tri-Meridian for under $1k including all tooling. Steel: About $100. Welder and supplies: About $200. Donor bikes and parts: $100 or so. New bike parts: $50ish. I'm probably forgetting somethings. But that which I tallied up is under $500. I'm sure there's more that I didn't tally up...

I don't disagree with you there. I am having a hard time finding anything, indeed! But it needed to be done so I could get the shelf added.

    Steel Furniture: My first Piece!

You guys are killin me! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: So here's the desk, clean (not its usual state!) and without the scope and signal generator on it: Now I don't need that milk crate, so I regain all that space. Now I'll need to figure out the lamp situation again, but thats no...

    Steel Furniture: My first Piece!

Hi everyone, We here in the AZ Crew know we aren't limited to building mobile things- we can build stationary things too! and I did. I've got a 6 foot table I use for a ham radio and electronics workbench (my "ham shack") and it has needed a second tier for some time. There's just not enough...

    Jon's Warrior Build

Very cool! I also have a bunch of red LED strips, some arduinos, and batteries. But, I'm going a simpler route. I'm not a developer. I'm just building my own drivers with 2n2222's, programming some predefined patterns that cycle every minute or so, and my battery situation will be... different...

Looks great! Seems like that seat really solved some issues for you. And it looks comfy, too. Your build has really come along so nicely!
