    Chainless Tilting Tadpole Velo

Update from a Ytuber Generator trike builder - 25k km on his 2nd unit. To me, his drive train is complex.

Yes, if I were to do a drive system, a belt would be preferred. Clean and quiet. Cheers

    Chainless Tilting Tadpole Velo

Thanks for your interest I did think of a single gear - on of my favorite ride developments to watch uses one, Electrom - but then decided no -- I hate chains that much! We live in the 21st century with some amazing tech. As far as I am concerned, chains are just another, noisy, greasy point of...

I probably have the 63 - but that is good, as I dont want to work with material that is harder to source should someone else wish to copy my work. Cheers

    Chainless Tilting Tadpole Velo

I think that is what I have a huge stock of in my garage from a camper project that I never finished (King of unfinished projects) -- up in rafters now so cant check it till I go to use it. I also have some 1/8 bits should I need, maybe the front and rear wheel pieces need 1/8 as they will take...

    Chainless Tilting Tadpole Velo

Thx. Since the frame/body will be the a single super structure, I was thinking minimum 1/8. With the plexi cover riveted to the outside to add to the rigidity I might be able to get away with 1/16. I thought I had a ton of 1/8 in the garage but I put my finger in the end and I feels like it is...

Stroke Cargo trike has a pretty small clean setup - but not sure what function the circled parts are The solid top bar with separate lower arms is interesting - not sure I seen that before - usually top and bottom both solid or top and bottom both separate the later when you are adding...

    Chainless Tilting Tadpole Velo

EV4 has a , what I am going to call the, "Standard tilt' as well. A little wide for my taste but it looks effective. If you watch the vid at the beginning when they tilt back and forth, looks like very little tire scrub. The steering setup is what I was most interested on this one. Very...

    Chainless Tilting Tadpole Velo

Thx -- not sure I seen the brand before -- I have seen that style of tilt. Wanting to do a Tadpole vs a delta, changing that style of tilt to work on the front is even more complicated from what I have seen. The nice thing about that style tilt is when you put on the brakes(on tilt wheels)...

One thing I did not consider if I put the front tilt wheels under the SuperFrame (SF) is clearance during tilt. You want to be able to tilt at least 35 or more % so it is looking more likely to have the wheels in front.

Thx -- I believe I saw that one. Another Bike example -- Electrom

    Chainless Tilting Tadpole Velo

I have looked up almost ever example out there I could find. I love the Sway! Could not find closeups of the steering setup. Others I liked and very curious about how they work are ones like TreGo and AddBike -- they are just attaching to the forks of a 2 wheeler and working. They look like...
